Thunderbirds are go!

Our loan has been approved and contracts signed. Funds should be available inside 48 hours. “Thunderbirds are go!” indeed.

Josh and I are flying to Sydney to check out, and in all likelihood buy, the Touareg I detailed in the previous post. All going well, we will pick it up on Friday and drive up to Hallidays Point to see my father on Friday night, then off to Adelaide bright and early Saturday, with a stop over in Numurkah, Vic. on Saturday night where Megan will be holidaying with some friends. So Megan gets to see the new car and we save ourselves a night’s accommodation cost on the return journey.

Then, we need to pay a $3,000 deposit to the caravan dealer to book our spot in the production schedule. Megan may be able to do that on Friday, else I will do it next week.

The car is now home and the deposit for the caravan has been paid.
