Coming together

Well, things are finally coming together.

• Our loan has received final approval and should be funded by mid-week. As frustrating as this process has been, it is approaching the end.
• Our selection of caravan has been made. We will make an appointment to place the order as soon as the money is available. Meanwhile, the dealer has contacted the builder of the Admiral model we want (Kokoda sub-contract their builds to other manufacturers) and confirmed the tow ball weights of recent builds. They have been coming in at 180-200 kg, so that’s good…
• We have also confirmed our selection of tow tug.  The Touareg’s 280 kg maximum ball weight should pose no problem, and it seems capable in every other respect.
• Finally, several Touaregs are available for sale in our price range, although we may need to go interstate to get one.
